The webcam cannot be connected
If this error occurs, the webcam is not recognized even though it is enabled. In this case, open another app that needs a camera, e.g. Skype or possibly the camera app pre-installed in Windows 10 and test whether your camera is working properly here. Then close the app again and test whether your camera is now working in the RealTime meeting. If necessary, log out of the meeting and then log back in again.
Experience has shown that this error occurs more frequently in the Firefox browser. We recommend using the Chrome browser
The problem is still there?
Check in the browser whether your camera is enabled or not blocked on the RealTime website.
The following example shows the process in Chrome and Firefox.
1. To do this, go to the browser menu using the dots icon in the top right next to the address line.
2. Open the website settings.
3. Open the camera settings (only for Chrome).
4. Make sure that the camera is not blocked by any side (if the IMS RealTime page is displayed here, delete it) and close or save the settings.
