InterMedia Solutions was founded in 1999 by a team of multimedia and broadcasting specialists. The aim was to ...... develop easy to use, professional software, systems and services, with which our customers could produce and publish audio/video and Rich Media webcasts on the internet and intranet. 
The first webcast software solution was presented at the CEBIT, the world's largest IT trade fair, and won that year's "Best of Internet World" award. Shortly after this success, InterMedia Solutions was also one of the winners of the "Multimedia Startup" award, presented by the German Federal Department of Economics and Technology. There was a great deal of interest in this new technology, and InterMedia Solutions was soon able to count not only large companies such as DaimlerChrysler, Bertelsmann or Deutsche Bank to their growing list of references, but also streaming providers such as T-Online and Bavaria Interactive.
